City by city: The world's top 10 priciest club sandwiches locations

You can find the most expensive club sandwich in Geneva which cost an average of £19.46.

Hotels.com has recently carried out a survey with the goal to identify the top 10 priciest club sandwiches around the world to give an indication of other prices in their respective location for weary travelers. 

 

Based on the figures gathered, Geneva is at number one with its hotels charging as much as £25.82 for their classic two-tier sandwiches. This information provides holiday makers with a rough indication of how much they’re going to spend upon visiting the Swiss city. 

 

Geneva is followed by Paris where sandwiches typically cost an average of £17.53. Other costly destinations include Helsinki (£14.54), Stockholm (£14.36), and Oslo (14.21). London also made it to the list witch sandwiches priced as £13.53 on average. 

 

Meanwhile, Indian capital New Delhi, offers the cheapest sandwiches at just £5.24 for the snack. It’s ahead of Mexico City (£5.84), Buenos Aires (£6.19), Bangkok (£7.15), and Taipei (£7.41). 

 

Alison Couper of the Hotels.com said:  “The Club Sandwich Index offers travellers a simple price comparison to show how far their money may stretch in each country, using the most common item on any hotel menu. The majority of countries continued to display a decline in the price of a Club Sandwich, which is great news for travellers who will get more for their money abroad.”
