Former Radio 1 breakfast show host Chris Moyles has opened up to Philip Schofield and Holly Willoughby on This Morning and revealed that he has no intention of going back to being a DJ. He said that after doing the job for so long, it was nice to get a break from it.
"I've just decided that I'm going to take break for a while because I did it for so long. I'm having a nice break from it all.
"I kind of feel like I've closed that chapter of my book and now I'll do something else."
Although he did not rule out the possibility of returning to radio, he said that this is not included in his immediate plans. He said: "I never say never, but for the foreseeable future, no."
The 39-year-old former DJ left Radio 1 on September 2012 after eight years on the breakfast show. He was replaced by Nick Grimshaw.
Moyles also talked about his UK arena tour of Jesus Christ Superstar where he plays the role of King Herod. Also included in the show are former Spice Girl Melanie C, comedian Tim Minchin, Ben Forster, and Alex Hanson.
