CGI Gifts Emmaus Merseyside with 20 Laptops
Charity receives 20 laptops to help get people back into the workplace.

Homelessness charity Emmaus Merseyside has recently received 20 laptop computers from IT and business consulting firm CGI to help get people back into the workplace.
The charity, which provides a home, training, work opportunities and support to people who have experienced homelessness, said that the donated laptops will help with personal training as well as IT literacy.
Janet Webb, Director Consulting Services at CGI, said: “On behalf of CGI I am delighted to be able to help Emmaus Merseyside companions with this donation which I know will provide great benefits to the recipients.”
CGI, which champions digital inclusion for all, said that the laptop donation scheme is part of a wider partnership of support for Emmaus UK and Emmaus communities across the country.
Marc Bamber, chief operating officer at Emmaus Merseyside, said: “Our community is delighted with the laptop donation from CGI and very grateful for their ongoing support of our charity. The laptops will have a positive impact on people supported at Emmaus Merseyside, helping them access learning and opportunities to help with their progression.”
