CCTV Catches Burglar

A burglar has been jailed for three years after he was caught by home security camera stealing wedding rings and kids’ pocket money.

A 55-year-old man was caught by home security camera stealing from a home in Climping, West Sussex.

 

Collin Ellinor was caught smashing the home’s window before taking £3,000 cash and jewellery, including two wedding rings and cash from kids’ money boxes. The footage, which was shared in Facebook, was seen by a retired police cop who alerted the police after recognising Ellinor from the video.

 

Ellinor admitted to burglary at Lewes crown court. He is jailed for a total of three years.
