Plans to fashion a Cambridge-Norwich technology corridor to join up their strengths and assets have won the support of various companies both in the private and public sector, including world-leading universities and research institutes, network organisations and a list of companies that support technology-led growth.
According to research, the project can potentially create up to 26,000 new jobs and bring an additional £2.75bn to the regional economy.
Various businesses are invited to attend the stakeholder meetings to learn more about the project and get the opportunity to be part of developing the narrative for the initiative. They will also have the chance to help identify opportunities as well as key threats in the area and participate in setting the agenda of activities for the coming months and years.
The sessions will be led by the Cambridge Norwich Tech Corridor team and international marketing and emerging technology experts. The free events will take place at the Hethel Technology Centre on 4 October and Cambridge Science Park on 9 October.
