Brosnan's kidnap nightmare

Pierce Brosnan feared he would be kidnapped while he filmed 'The Matador' in Mexico City.
The heartthrob actor was so terrified he'd be targeted in the city - where abduction is rife - he used armoured cars while he was shooting the new movie.
He even changed his vehicles as a precaution.
Brosnan is quoted in Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper as saying: "There was a real concern. I had to swap cars three times because we had these unexplained blow-outs.
"What happens is they puncture the tyres right near the valve and of course you have to pull over and that's when these kidnappers can pounce."
The former 'James Bond' star didn't tell his wife, Keely, about the security risk because he didn't want to scare her.
He revealed: "I was worried for my family and they were worried for me.
"I do remember a week before we left there was a big article in the Los Angeles Times which talked about all the kidnapping. I tried to hide it from my wife, under the sofa. But she found it."
