Broadband Upgrades Health Services for Smooth Running
NYnet provides broadband upgrades to vital health services so they'll keep running smoothly during COVID-19 outbreak.

North Yorkshire County Council's NYnet provides broadband upgrade and support to vital health services in North Yorkshire as they tackle COVID-19 pandemic.
The company, which provides high-speed internet connections to more than 750 sector sites across the county, has recently upgraded all its health sector sites to ensure that any issues they raise are dealt with as a top priority. It also provides same-day bandwidth upgrades for hospitals and GP surgeries.
Michael Ash-McMahon, deputy chief finance officer at NHS Vale of York CCG, said that NYnet's service has been "very helpful during these difficult times."
He added: The response we have received from NYnet, as always, has been excellent.
"They have provided overnight upgrades, including increasing bandwidth where required, as well as providing free 24/7 support to the NHS.
Debbie Westmoreland, service development manager at NHS North Yorkshire, has also praised NYnet's efficient service. She said: "NYnet continues it exemplary support during these difficult times, allowing us to concentrate on delivering front line services to our customers."
Richard Flinton, chief executive of North Yorkshire County Council added: "The upgraded service being offered by the NYnet team provides an essential safety net."
