Broadband Rollout Connects 2000 Homes in Lincoln
CityFibre brings faster broadband to more than 2,000 Lincoln homes.

A £21million scheme has successfully brought faster broadband access to more than 2,000 Lincoln homes.
CityFibre engineers confirm that work to upgrade internet service across the city is now underway. In the meantime, homes and businesses in the Abbey area can now enjoy improved broadband service.
Dominika Walker, from company CityFibre, said work was "progressing at speed" and claimed any disruption would "pay off" in the long-term.
Meanwhile, a Lincolnshire County Council spokesperson said that work is now underway in Castle, Minster, Glebe, and Carholme while construction is expected to begin in North Hykeham, Hartsholme, Birchwood, Boultham and Park wards int the coming weeks.
CityFibre added that the full rollout is expected to be completed in 2024 when nearly every home and business will have access to full fibre broadband from a choice of internet providers.
