A British man together with his Irish wife and daughter were found dead inside the apartment that they’re renting in Costa Del Sol, Spain.
Based on the report, the apparent murder-suicide is linked to the daughter’s disability. A suicide note, believed to have been written by the father, Philip Wood, was found.
The mother, Sheila and her daughter Sophie, are confirmed to be Irish passport holders.
The three bodies were found by their landlord. Based on the report, the owner of the apartment has not heard from the family and they haven’t paid the rent.
When he checked the apartment, he found the bodies and reported the incident to the authorities immediately.
Police believe that this is a murder-suicide. A spokeswoman said: "When officers inspected the house they found the wife and the daughter dead in a bedroom. The initial hypothesis at this early stage of the investigation is that this was a murder-suicide."
