British Astronomer, Sir Patrick Moore dies aged 89

Broadcaster and astronomer, Sir Patrick Moore has passed away at his home at the age of 89.

Broadcaster and astronomer, Sir Patrick Moore has passed away at his home at the age of 89.

 

Sir Patrick passed away at 12.25pm, this afternoon, at his home in West Sussex, following a short period in hospital last week.

 

He was with friends and family and his cat Ptolemy.
