Britain's car production levels on the rise
The Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders said that UK production in October increased at the fastest pace this year.

In yet another sign of economic recovery, the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders has confirmed that the production of cars in October in the United Kingdom in on the rise.
The group also confirmed that this is the biggest year-on-year increase to date
. The increasing demand for cars in the United Kingdom was partly due of cheap finance deals and rising consumer confidence.
SMMT added that so far, the car industry has produced 1,286,287 cars, which is 5.4per cent increase compared to the same period last year.
SMMT chief executive Mike Hawes said: "UK car manufacturing for the home market increased strongly in October. With European demand showing early signs of recovery, we expect production to continue positively in the coming months."
