Bridget Jones Is Back!

Bridget Jones is back and this time, there’s a baby on board.

New pictures have emerged showing Renee Zellweger reprising her much-loved character for the new film, Bridget Jones’s Baby. The pictures were taken at Sainsbury’s supermarket in Woolwich, London, where the movie is being filmed. The 46-year-old actress was sporting a baby bump barely concealed by a big fluffy blue coat.

 

Details of the storyline for the long-awaited sequel to the 2004 movie Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason is yet to be revealed but it is expected to bridge the gap between the 2013 book, Mad About the Boy.

 

Colin Firth is still Bridget’s love interest Mark Darcy. Although Hugh Grant will not return, Patrick Dempsey is on board. Last week, he posted a picture on Instagram confirming his role in the movie. He said: "Nice to be working in England. Renee and Colin are an absolute joy to work with!

 

"A good couple of days rehearsing at Pinewood Studios. I really like it here!"
