Jennifer Aniston and husband Brad Pitt are reportedly considering starring in their first film together.

The couple have bought the rights to an American bestseller, which Pitt plans to turn into a movie starring both he and his wife.

The "Troy" heart-throb told Marie Claire magazine: "We've bought the rights to Audrey Niffenegger's 'The Time Traveler's Wife' and we might both appear in that."

The novel is a love story about a woman called Clare and her husband Henry, who has a disorder which randomly takes him from the present to his past or future.

Asked about children, Pitt dismissed rumours that he and Aniston are planning a family, saying: "I'm still a little too selfish ... and I want Jennifer to myself for a little while longer."
