Bomb kills 12 people in Pakistan
It is understood the bomb in the South West of Pakistan killed a number of security personnel

A bomb has exploded in Quetta, Pakistan, leaving atleast 12 people dead and others injured. It is believed the bomb, which went off on Thursday 23rdMay, was put in a rickshaw.
Police have said that a security vehicle was destroyed by the bomb as it was travelling round an area of Quetta.
It is understood that among the dead were a number of security personnel.
An senior official from the police, Fayyaz Sumbal, told AFP; “At least 12 people have been killed, 11 of them were security personnel”, as reported by The Telegraph.
He has also said that the blast occurred as a result of a remote-controlled bomb going off, according to reports.
As of time of press it is not certain who is responsible for the explosion.
Earlier this year more than 119 people died after a bomb went off in Quetta. Following this, a number of people also sadly lost their lives after a blast went off in a market area.
Quetta, which is located in the South West of Pakistan, is the capital of the Balochistan province. It is known by many for its plants and wildlife. The city is situated in the northern part of Balochistan.
Pakistan, in South Asia, shares its borders with Afghanistan and Iran, among other countries.
