Space enthusiasts now have the chance to own the joystick that was used to land Apollo 15 on the moon - it is to be auctioned with starting bid of $10,000.
However, it is expected that the selling price can go up to hundreds to thousands of dollars in the online auction.
The joystick comes with two-page letter of authenticity and explanation from astronaut David Scott, who used the device on the particular moon mission.
In the letter Mr Scott wrote: "This has been in my personal collection since returning to Earth."
"This remarkable device … provided the Commander and crew with 11 separate functions during four major phases of a lunar landing mission."
Other items to be auctioned include Buzz Aldrin’s Nasa-issued glove worn at the Tranquility Base during the first lunar landing and a ceramic tile flown in lunar orbit.
