Big Screens Return to Watford

Watford Council confirms the comeback of the FREE 'Big Screen' from 24 July to 6 August.

Grab your popcorn because the Free 'Big Screen' is making a comeback as confirmed by Watford Council. 

From 24 July to 6 August, spectators can look forward to an unforgettable cinematic experience and enjoy a diverse selection of films ranging from iconic adventures like Jaws, Back to the Future, and Top Gun: Maverick to beloved animated classics like The Jungle Book, Toy Story, and the Little Mermaid. 

Elected Mayor of Watford, Peter Taylor said: "The Big Screen, a mainstay in our Big Events programme, continues to captivate residents with its free screenings, providing the perfect way to spend time with family and friends in the summer. With an expanded film lineup this year, we welcome everyone to join us and watch these great films in the town centre and Woodside Playing Fields."

Moviegoers can also expect a range of delicious treats and cool drinks from food and drink vendors who will line up at the Woodside Playing Fields. The event is free and advance booking is not necessary.
