Beyoncé Knowles claims Barbra Streisand and Diana Ross have been the biggest influences on her career.
The 'Bootylicious' singer, who plays a Diana Ross-style character in her upcoming movie 'Dreamgirls', hailed the singing legends for their natural talent.
She is quoted in Britain's Hello magazine as saying: "I chose those people because they were successful singers and they didn't have to act financially or for any other reason. They did it because they wanted to."
The former Destiny's Child star - who played racy Foxxy Cleopatra in hit comedy 'Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me'- also confessed she would love to have a non-singing film part one day.
She said: "I think it's great when you're able to act and sing. But I do eventually want to do a movie where I'm not a singer."
