An article in Star magazine which claims to be Beyoncs first interview since the birth of her daughter has been branded as fake by the singers spokesperson.
Published on Tuesday, the world exclusive article tells how Jay-Z will be a hands on father to Blue Ivy Carter and Beyonc reportedly says how the tight security was essential for their new daughters safety.
However, a spokesperson for the new mum has said that the interview has been "completely made up".
When asked if the article was legitimate they said it absolutely was not. The editor of the Star has denied these claims.
Editor, Anna Pointer told Access Hollywood:
"It is not made up or fictitious at all
"We bought the interview from a reporter in the US who conducted the interview with Beyonce before the birth."
The reporter in question was said to have gained a top-up interview after the birth, but the magazine does not state that the interview was conducted in stages a promotional article on their website saying:
"Beyonces first interview since the birth of her daughter."
The claim came on the same day that a number of celebrity magazine editors appeared before the Leveson inquiry, where many questions focused on the issue of misleading headlines on front covers.
