Experts weigh in on how 5G is going to change the way consumers and businesses use the internet in the next five years.

5G is expected to offer ultrafast internet connection and limitless potential in terms of mobile connectivity. A group of entrepreneurs from Young Entrepreneur Council (YEC) shares how they think this technology can change the way consumers and businesses will use the internet in the next five years.

 

According to Joe Apfelbaum of Ajax Union, faster internet will allow consumers to use live videos, which brands will use to interact to their target audience on a real-time basis. He added that 5G will offer more virtual reality opportunities.

 

John Rampton of Due, on the other hand, said that because of 5G, mobile will dominate in the next five year. Using this technology, businesses will be able to ensure that their websites and apps will load faster on smartphones, which young people will find extremely appealing.

 

Nicole Munoz of Start Ranking Now sees wired connection being obsolete when 5G is finally rolled out. She said that this will allow businesses to ensure that their workforce can take a broader bandwidth, greater mobility and faster internet connection. She added that 5G will open the door for truly wireless connectivity everywhere.
