X Factor finalist Ben Mills has announced the release of his second album 'Freedom'.
The singer, who finished third on the ITV1 reality show in 2006 – behind Ray Quinn and winner Leona Lewis – debuted 'Picture of You' the following year.
30-year-old Mills's new album includes songwriting collaborations with Take That star Mark Owen and Paul Barry, who has worked with James Morrison.
Speaking of the upcoming release, Mills said: "'Freedom' is my journey, my decisions and the roads I took."
"I had an idea of what I wanted my second album to sound like (warning, no autotune was used in the production of this album!) and 'Freedom' is it! In my short but extreme experience in the music industry, that is a rare thing indeed!"
Mills first LP featured covers of 'Maggie May' and 'With A Little Help From My Friends', charted at No 3 in 2007.
The new album is due to be released on the singer's own Benjamel label.
