Integrated security systems offer smart home and office solutions.

In a world where criminals are using more sophisticated, modern methods to get into our home our business, an innovated integrated security system is a must to protect our privacy, security and safety. Local infrastructure supplier BT-SA agrees saying that such systems make for a smart home or office solution.

 

Erik Jordaan, Managing Director at BT-SA, said: “Just to secure the perimeter of your home or business but neglecting to monitor access control is not an option these days,”

 

“Security needs to be viewed as an onion concept, where multiple layers make up the whole, and only one layer does not make for an entire solution.

 

However, applying several layers of security, which involves the use of different security products and devices, can pose many challenges. Jordaan said that this is where an integrated security line of action to smart homes really come into play, adding: “you don’t want to be constantly feeling anxious about your security devices – it should give you peace of mind.

 

These systems allow you to link all your security devices including electric fence, CCTV cameras and intruder detection systems to a single management unit allowing you to respond to threats more effectively.
