Barcelona triumph with 4-0 win against AC Milan

FC Barcelona has secured their place in the next round of the Champions League after winning on Tuesday night

Barcelona football club have smashed their way to the quarter final of the Champions League by beating AC Milan 4-0 on Tuesday, 12^thMarch. The game, which took place at the winner’s pitch Nou Camp, kicked off with Barcelona being two goals behind following the first leg match.

 

But the likes of Lionel Messi among others pulled out all the stops to help put their team in front. His first goal of the game came in the first five minutes of play, with his second coming before half-time in the 40^th minute.

 

Although Barcelona secured two of their goals in the first half of the match, David Villa helped to seal the deal by sticking the ball in the back of the net for the third goal of the evening.

 

And Jodi Alba made Barcelona fans happy with the final goal of the night.

 

The visitors were left feeling defeated, especially after a promising first-leg game in which AC Milan beat Barcelona 2-0.

 

But presumably Messi will be happy with his game following the good result for Barcelona after the last meeting with AC Milan.
