Mike Baldwin will fall victim to the oldest Christmas party trick in the book - pulling an employee while under the influence.

The Corrie underwear factory boss will be seen drinking a few too many whisky doubles at the works party and planting a smacker on the lips of Janice Battersby.

The Daily Star reports that the future scene will see Mike, played by Johnny Briggs, tell Janice to sit on his knee and then start to lay on the charm.

Vicky Entwistle's character tells him that she gets turned on by his hard management style, while he returns the compliment by letting everyone in earshot know how attractive he finds her.

In full view of everyone else at the party - and with Fiz Brown's camera flashing - Mike then moves in for the kill with a passionate French kiss, with Janice egging him on.

"I'm available for love. All I need are my roots done once a month and three pints of lager every night," she giggles as Mike's lips head towards her.

Quite how Mike reacts when he sobers up the next day remains to be seen.
