Former S-Club star Rachel Stevens has given birth to a baby girl.

Stevens and her husband, Alex Bourne, welcomed their new arrival, Amelie, in the early hours of 16 November at London's Portland Hospital.

Rachel's publicist, Liz Matthews, said in statement: "Rachel Stevens and Alex Bourne are delight to announce the birth of their daughter Amelie.

"She arrived at 2:05am. Mother and baby are both doing really well."

The former Strictly Come Dancing contestant was one of a long line of celebrities that announced they were pregnant this year, with Mariah Carey, Kym Marsh, Emma Bunton, Pink and Holly Willoughby all expecting.
