Baby girl for film stars Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes

Reports confirmed that Eva Mendes gave birth to her first baby on September 12 but the stars have only just revealed the news.

Actors Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling are proud first-time parents as they welcomed their baby girl. According to US media, Eva gave birth on September 12 and managed to keep the news a secret for a week. 

 

The couple managed to keep Eva’s pregnancy under wraps for a long time as well, with the first reports emerging in July when she was already seven months pregnant. 

 

The 40-year-old actress brushed off pregnancy rumours earlier this year. At the time she said: "It's so ridiculous.

 

"It all started because I didn't want to go through the scanners at the airport. You know those X-ray scanners, which are really creepy? They basically see you naked, right?

 

"And, not only that, but there's a radiation aspect to it so I always opt out."

 

The couple has been dating for three years. They both appeared in the crime drama film The Place Beyond The Pines last year.
