Joss Whedon has reportedly released a spoof video endorsing Mitt Romney. The video, which apparently shows the director in his kitchen, was 2minutes and 13seconds long.
Whedon started by saying, as reported by Female First: “Like a lot of liberal Americans, I was excited when Barack Obama took office four years ago. But it's a very different world now, and Mitt Romney is a very different candidate.”
He added: “When it comes to choosing a presidential candidate, you have to think of what they'll bring to the table. And if it's a zombie apocalypse you want, then you should vote for Mitt Romney.”
According to Whedon, as referred to in the same report by Female First, Romney is “one with the vision and determination to cut through business-as-usual politics and finally put this country back on the path to the zombie apocalypse.”
Whedon asks: “Am I ready for the purity and courage of Mitt's vision? Mitt's ready. Romney's not afraid to face a ravening, grasping horde of subhumans, because that's how he sees poor people already.”
He supposedly added that Mitt's election would “guarantee poverty, unemployment, overpopulation, disease, rioting—all crucial elements in creating a nightmare zombie wasteland.”
It is understood that at the end, the director said the power will shift from “the very rich” to the “very fast.”
Whedon then encourages the viewers to start stocking up on canned goods to get ready for the time when the undead take over the planet, according to some reports on the ad.
