Astronaut Wears Star Trek Costume
Samantha Cristoforetti is the first person to war Star Trek uniform in Space.

The iconic Star Trek uniform has made it in space – thanks to Samatha Cristoforetti, the first ever astronaut to wear the costume on the International Space Station. She donned the garb, sported by the crew on Star Trek Voyager, to celebrate the arrival of the cargo-carrying Dragon Spacecraft to the space station.
Posting her picture wearing the costume, she wrote: 'There’s coffee in that nebula”… ehm, I mean… in that #Dragon.” She was of course referring to the SpaceX’s vehicle, which launched from Cape Canaveral on 14 April. It carried a coffee machine called the ISSPresso along with other supplies for astronauts.
The coffee machine was made by Italian coffee giant Lavazza which worked together with the Turin-based engineering company Argotec and the Italian Space agency. It is the first coffee machine to ever work in micro gravity on the ISS.
