Apple Plug Recall

Apple has issued a voluntary recall of its two-prong AC wall plugs over safety concerns.

Apple is recalling millions of its two-prong AC wall plugs following a number of incidents of them breaking and causing electric shocks.

The plugs came with Macs and other iOS devices sold between 2003 and 2015 in Continental Europe, Argentina, Brazil, Australia, New Zealand and South Korea.

 

Affected users in the above mentioned countries can have their plugs replaced at any local Apple store or request a replacement via the company’s website.
