Aniston's baby shock

Jennifer Aniston claims Brad Pitt never told her his new lover Angelina Jolie was pregnant - she read it in the media like everyone else.

The former 'Friends' actress was rumoured to have been called by ex husband Pitt saying he was expecting his first baby with Jolie several days before the couple's official announcement last week.

But Aniston's publicist Stephen Huvane revealed: "All the reports about phone calls between Jennifer Aniston, Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie are all made-up lies."

The baby news broke after Jolie told a charity worker in the Dominican Republic, where she is filming 'The Good Shepherd': "Yes, I'm pregnant".

Pitt's spokesperson then admitted the rumours were true, although it wasn't revealed when the baby is due.

Last month, Pitt and Jolie made the first steps towards becoming a family when the Hollywood heartthrob filed papers to legally adopt the actress' adopted children - Maddox and Zahara.

It was then rumoured Pitt had called Aniston to tell her Jolie was pregnant with his child.

A source told Britain's Heat magazine: "Jen told Brad she wished him and Angie all the happiness in the world. She then hung up and cried her eyes out."
