The cast of "Charlie's Angels" has been asked to join the famous Ford Gran Torino in the next "Starsky & Hutch" movie.

The cast of "Charlie's Angels" has been asked to join the famous Ford Gran Torino in the next "Starsky & Hutch" movie.

But the two films, both based around 1970s American television series', might have problems combining.

While Cameron Diaz will make the crossover, after Ben Stiller (Starsky) begged her, Lucy Liu and Drew Barrymore are less likely to join in on the fun.

Stiller, 38, and Owen Wilson (Hutch) had wanted all three Angels to make a combined cameo appearance, but due to other commitments they have been forced to settle for just Diaz.

"Starsky & Hutch" was a surprise hit this year - grossing $88 million in the US, and 12 million in the UK.
