Amanda Holden has given birth to a baby girl, Hollie Rose, it has been confirmed.
The Britain's Got Talent judge was previously rushed to hospital and was in a "critical" condition for the birth.
However, her spokesperson has now said she is "stable":
"Hollie Rose Hughes was born on 23 January 2012. She is healthy and weighed in at 6.1lbs but Amanda has been in a critical condition for the past three days.
"She is now stable and we expect her to make a full recovery very soon. We thank you for respecting their privacy at this time."
Forty-year-old Holden had to pull out of auditions in Blackpool and checked herself into hospital, remaining under observation until the birth - which was carried out by caesarean section.
A spokesperson for the talent show said:
"We extend our congratulations to Amanda and Chris on the birth of Hollie and wish Amanda a speedy recovery. We look forward to her returning to Britain's Got Talent very soon."
Amanda and her husband Chris Hughes also have another daughter, Lexi, six.
