Country legend Glen Campbell is unlikely to perform again due to his on-going struggles with Alzheimer’s disease as confirmed by his wife, Kim Woolen.
She told People: 'He can't even tune a guitar now. If I tune one and hand it to him he can still play, [but] not like he used to.'
Glen is now living in a memory-care facility near their home in Nashville. His wife says that he makes time to visit him every single day for hours. She said: 'It's a very nurturing place … [and] he feels secure there. I sit with him through his meals … we hug each other and cuddle. I savor every day.'
'There's a lot of sadness, [but] we just continue to try to make the best of every day and keep a sense of humor.'
Glen’s last album was released in 2010 and during his 50 year career, he has released more than 70 albums and sold 45 million records.
