Tips and tricks to get Alexa to do just about anything.

Amazon Echo, which has proved to be extremely popular with Brits, is often used for basic tasks, such as playing music and answering general knowledge questions. But did you know that with the right tips, tricks, skills and accessories, you could get it to do just about anything?
If you have multiple Echo speakers at home, for example, you can use them to build your very own intercom system or use them to play multi-room music, the same way expensive systems, such as Sonos, work. Simply add them to appropriate groups and play music to just downstairs or all of them at the same time.
Routines can also make your life easier and more convenient. Once you have gotten control over lights and other bits, set up customised commands in Alexa speak. With this task, you can turn off all the lights and all connected appliances with a simple voice command, such as “good night Alexa.”
Alexa can also be used to turn on the fan, access different cameras in your home, and turn on your Sonos speakers. As for the skills, you can learn a new language with the Translated skill or add stardust to your kids’ bedtime with Paloma’s bedtime skill that sing lullabies and read stories.
