Alesha Dixon is pregnant with her first child

The Britain’s Got Talent judge is expecting her first child with partner Azuka Ononye.

Singer and Britain’s Got Talent judge Alesha Dixon is expecting her first baby with dancer boyfriend Azuka Ononye. Her spokesman confirmed the news saying: "Alesha Dixon and her partner Azuka Ononye are delighted to announce they are expecting their first child later this year."

 

"Alesha and Azuka are looking forward to this happy chapter in their life and would request privacy to enjoy this happy and most important event. Further details will be given at the appropriate time,"

 

The couple first met in 2006 when Ononye became part of Dixon’s backing team as she launched a solo career after the split of her former band, Mis-Teeq.

 

However, it was only in 2010 when they reportedly spent more time together. During this time, Dixon was promoting her album The Entertainer and Ononye joined her onstage. 

 

A friend told The Daily Record that the singer was happy to be pregnant. The friend said: "Alesha has always wanted to be a mum and is very excited about it. She is very happy."

 

Dixon was previously married to MC Harvey but the couple are now divorced.
