Affordable 5G Mobile Coming to UK

Tesco set to launch own 5G network to offer affordable, super-fast mobile service in the UK.

Tesco Mobile’s 5G network will be switched on early this year to offer an affordable but super-fast and reliable mobile service in many areas. Among the first to benefit are Belfast, Blackpool, Bristol, Bournemouth, Coventry, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Derby, Eton, Leeds, Guildford, Lisburn, London, Nottingham, Norwich, Reading, Stoke, Slough and Windsor.

 

The service, which uses O2’s 5G infrastructure, will be made available to more areas by summer 2020. Included in the list are Aberdeen, Birkenhead, Birmingham, Bradford, Brighton, Cambridge, Glasgow, Hove, Kingston, Liverpool, Luton, Manchester, Milton Keynes, Newbury, Newcastle, Northampton, Plymouth, Portsmouth, Sheffield, Southampton, Sunderland, Warrington and Wolverhampton.

 

Telco Mobile’s 5G offers various perks – it allows users to double their Tesco Clubcard points and those who have Family Plan with multiple users are eligible for additional bonuses. Despite fierce competition with other providers in the UK, Tesco is optimistic that many will be tempted to make the switch due to its competitive pricing.
