Adele and George Michael could be set to collaborate on a new track, according to reports.

Wham star George, who presented the singer with her Album of the Year award at this year's BRITs, is currently working on a new album and is apparently keen to team up with Adele.

A source reportedly told femalefirst.co.uk:

"George is working on his album for the first time since his life-threatening illness and he's in great shape. It is no secret that he adores Adele.

"He even left his boyfriend Fadi Fawaz in Australia for three days while he flew in to present Adele with her Brit.

"Adele has been an admirer of George's tunes for as long as she can remember, and was so touched that George presented her [with her] Brit Awards."

George is currently recovering after suffering from a severe bout of pneumonia.

Back in November 2011, he was rushed to hospital in Vienna and was forced to cancel his remaining tour dates.
