Adding MP3 to your Streaming Music Library
How to add your own MP3s to your streaming music library.

Before the age of streaming music services, we were all listening to iPods that hold thousands of our favourite tracks. If you’ve sign up for Spotify or another similar service, you’ll be happy to know that these modern services allow you to bring your local tracks along with you. Here’s how you can do it:
· Apple Music – Since Apple Music is built on top of iTunes, it should be pretty easy for you to combine your unlimited streaming music library with your existing iTunes music library. You can make this happen by simply activating your iCloud Music Library. Your local audio files will then be transferred to Apple’s servers from where they can be beamed down to your device.
· Spotify – Although it is highly possible that you’ll find all your existing MP3s available in Spotify’s catalogue, you can still add your own collection to this service easily. In the desktop application for Windows and macOS, click the menu by your avatar then choose settings. Proceed by scrolling down to the Local Files section and turn on the switches next to all the local sources you want to include. Spotify will then try to automatically detect where your local music is kept, allowing you to see entries like iTunes and Windows Media Player.
· Google Play Music – Google Play Music allows you to upload your own MP3 files in two ways: first, you can open up the main menu in the web interface, choose upload music and then drag files from another window into the browser. You can also use the desktop music manager, point it towards the folders where your MP3 files are stored and the program will take care of the rest.
