Paul Michael Glaser, the star of 70s hit show ‘Starsky and Hutch’, has pleaded not guilty to drug charges being filed against him after his arrested on May 10th.
This came as guests of the Hilton Garden Inn in Bowling Green, Kentucky, where the actor was staying, complained about the smell of marijuana coming from his room.
The 69-year-old actor had just read an extract from his young adult novel ‘Chrystallia and the Source of Light’ to pupils at a local middle school hours before his arrest.
Recently, the actor, through an attorney, entered a not guilty plea saying that the star was taking medical marijuana and has a prescription for it from the state of California.
Warren District Judge John Brown has set a pre-trial hearing on October 22nd.
Before becoming a novelist, Glaser played the beloved Detective David Starsky in the very popular TV cop series ‘Starsky and Hutch’. The show ran from 1975 to 1979, during which the two lead characters in the show became household names.

Glaser is divorced from his second wife Tracey Barone, whom he split with in 2007 and has one daughter with. Aside from daughter Zoe, Glaser also has two other children, Ariel and Jake, from his first wife, the late Elizabeth Glaser.
