Celebrity Love Island stars Abi Titmuss and Lee Sharpe are still an item, it has been revealed.

The pair got on like a house on fire while taking part in ITV's reality TV show last month and Abi has today confirmed that the loved up duo are still seeing each other.

Despite smooching their way through five weeks on the Fijian love hideaway, viewers were never completely sure whether it was a ploy to help them win the show's 100,000 prize.

But three weeks after leaving the island, the 29-year-old model has put those rumours to rest by telling the Daily Mirror: "We are now seeing each other which is great.

"Lee is a great guy and it's going really well. It's good to be in a relationship with someone so special. We've seen each other several times since the show ended."

Fellow contestant Jayne Middlemiss, who won the show with nightclub boss Fran Cosgrave, publicly criticised Abi during her stay on the island, believing that she was stringing Lee along in order to win.

And after being voted off the show, Abi was reluctant to make predictions for the future, saying: "We met on a TV show. We'll just have to see what happens."

But after the pair were spotted snogging their way through Jack Dee's Live at The Apollo on Tuesday it appears their feelings for each other are genuine.

Since returning to the UK, they have been reportedly spent most of their time holed up in Abi's flat in Islington, north London.
