A soft spot for Cheryl?

It has been reported that Prince Harry has requested a one-on-one meeting with X Factor judge and nation's sweetheart, Cheryl Cole.

According to The Mirror, the Prince managed to get in contact with Cole through a mutual friend and has arranged a trip to Fountain Studios, Wembley.

The royal was apparently due to attend a private showcase but it fell through, so a meeting at the studios, where the show is filmed, has been sorted out.

Prince Harry previously let slip his feelings for the X Factor judge to last year's winner, Joe McElderry, saying: "I'm jealous that you got to spend weeks with Cheryl."

Cole is said to be "flattered" and is looking forward to meeting the Prince.
