A relationship with ups and downs: Woman reveals she's married a rollercoaster called Bruce

A 56-year-old woman, whose past relationship interests include a locomotive and an aeroplane, has settled down with Bruce the rollercoaster.

A 56-year-old woman named Linda is married to a 70-tonne rollercoaster called Bruce, it has been revealed.

She said that she first fell in love with Bruce 26 years ago when she worked at the carnival where the ride was based. When her previous relationships with a locomotive and an aeroplane did not pan out, she realised that it was Bruce that was the love of her life after all.

Linda is just one of the stars of the new series of My Strange Addiction, which airs on channel TLC in the United States. She is self-proclaimed “objectum sexual”, which means she has romantic feelings for inanimate objects.

"Some women like tall men, some women like men with a colorful personality, he's got all of that," she says in the show.

"To me, Bruce is just amazing when he stands up and is spread out."

Linda is joined by a couple of Brits with unusual habits - Londoner Patrice who has chewed bricks for the past 12 years and Carolyn from Liverpool who has spent  £26,000 to look like Pamela Anderson.
