Stretching through the Lombardy region of northern Italy, Lake Como is another stunning location that you can create a whole vacation around. Spend a day at the Duomo, taking in the historic building that took 400 years to perfect. Another day can be spent at the Jungle Raider Park ziplining or bungee jumping. The Azores will give you a truly unique traveling experience. The landscape is filled with natural attractions and a variety of wildlife. It will be nearly impossible to get to everything you want to check out, but you'll have a great time trying. 7. Republic of Cyprus
