1 Fix Pausing Music From Spotify
Do you ever feel frustrated once your Spotify suddenly stops, and you are in the middle of the bridge of your favorite song, ready to belt it out with all your heart? For some users, their Spotify does pause all of a sudden. Before you look up “Spotify keeps pausing iPhone” online, we can help you how to fix this:
Toggle off Data Saving Mode
Keeping Data Saving Mode on means more data your network needs to spend. Keeping your Data Saving Mode off can help your network and Spotify to focus on streaming music alone. You can also download music once you are connected to Wi-Fi to save your data.
Connect to Wi-Fi or Restart Your Data
There are lots of things you can fix with only reconnecting your Internet. One of the reasons why your Spotify keeps on pausing is maybe you have a poor connection. Some Spotify users put the music quality on high in the settings. You may enjoy a great musical experience, but that may also be one of the reasons why your music pauses suddenly. If your connection is not stable or is not enough, your Spotify will certainly stop. Restart your data if you are sure that you have enough connection strength. If not, you can connect to Wi-Fi.
Restart your phone
Your computers also need a refresh or a reboot. That is also the same with smartphones. Restart your phone and give your phone a much-needed refresh by hitting your iPhone’s power button. You can also choose a lower music quality if you do not mind about it!
Those are just some of the things you can try, but there are a lot more tips if these methods fail!
2 Use Search Modifiers
Take your Spotify usage to the next level by searching for more specific music with search modifiers. You can use search modifiers on both your desktop app and mobile. You can use Spotify syntax for you to search music down to its specific year, genre, and even label! To use this feature, you can just use the “Modifier: Parameter” syntax. You can use this by looking up specific searches. For example, you need to search for country music under Big Machine in 2012. You can type “genre:country label:big machine year:2012”. Just like that, the right music under these will show up.
You can also narrow down your search by using “-“ or “NOT”. If you want to search for country music from 2010 to 2014, except 2011, you can type, “year: 2010-2014 NOT year: 2011”. So cool, right?
3 Use Discover Quickly
The Discover Quickly feature is a good function to search for the next music you would get lost in. Discover Quickly is a third-party feature that allows you to expand the “Discovery” function of Spotify. It allows you to look through genres, playlists, followed artists, new releases, and more. You can even have more specific ways to sort them out either by genre or by maximizing their parameters, like the number of tracks. If you want more excitement, you can also choose “Random Artist”.
4 Find Other Song Versions
If you want to explore more versions of your favorite songs, you have the option to choose different versions of their singles and albums. You can use this if you are using Spotify from your desktop. To look for either the clean or explicit version of the music you want—or any other version of that music, just click on its title and scroll down. Do this until you reach the bottom of the tracklist. You will see a “More Releases” option if there are other versions.
5 Send a Part of The Song
It is one thing to send a playlist to a friend or a special someone. What you may not know and what also may come in handy for you is you can also send a part of a song. To do this, you just need to click right and select Copy Spotify URI. After this step, you will just paste the said link to the song in a message. For the magic, you will add a # sign, which will gauge how far in the song the recipient should listen. Once you type this in, the recipient will hear automatically the song from the time after the # sign.
6 Keep The Songs Coming
You might notice how the songs seem to never stop at parties, bars, and such gatherings. You can do that on your Spotify either when you are working on something or when you need to keep the party alive. It seems quite awkward to be at a party with lots of dead air, don’t you think? Keep the songs coming and remove the quiet gaps between music! Go to your account and select Show Advanced Settings. It is now up to you how you want your music to intertwine. Adjust the crossfade bar and enjoy!
