50 Cent is to quit rap music.
The hip-hop star says he is planning to call time on his hugely successful career after his next two albums.
He said: "I can tell you now you're only gonna get two more albums from me. I'm gonna fulfil my album requirements, with Shady Aftermath records, and then I'm not sure what I'm gonna do."
50 - who is currently promoting new movie 'Get Rich Or Die Tryin', in which he makes his acting debut - says he might pursue a movie career.
He explained to Britain's Radio 1: "I'm not sure I'm gonna be working in films afterwards. I think I wanna stay in the music business, just behind the scenes."
It seems 50 is following in the footsteps of close friend Eminem who has retired from performing and recording.
The 'In Da Club' singer has confirmed the rap star, who re-married girlfriend Kim Mathers last weekend, has called time on his recording career but hopes to get Eminem to star on one of his tracks.
50 revealed: "I don't think Em will be performing again. I think, maybe, I can get him to make a record with me. But I'm not sure he'll make a record by himself again."
