50 Cent has ruled out ever launching a revenge attack on his mother's killers.
The US rapper - who grew up in the deprived New York neighbourhood of Southside Jamaica, Queens - suffered the trauma of having his drug-dealing mother gunned down, by suspected rival drug-dealers, when he was just eight.
However, the 'In Da Club' singer, real name Curtis Jackson, says he bears no grudge to the people responsible because his mother knew the risks she was taking when she got involved with selling crack-cocaine.
He said: "My mum sold drugs. In that life you expect to die or go to jail."
Meanwhile, 50 threw a party last weekend at his $4.1 million mansion for his neighbours.
The hip-hop star - who earlier this month was involved in a bitter feud with rap protégé The Game - hosted a lavish bash at his luxurious 18-bedroom home, in small US town Farmington, for lucky local residents.
And 50 - who bought the 48,500-square-foot mansion, previously owned by troubled boxer Mike Tyson, in 2003 - treated guests to a selection of fine food and drink.
Last month, the rap star threw a bash filmed by MTV for a programme promoting his chart-topping new album 'The Massacre'.
