5 Reasons To Be A Supermarket Security, Not A Web Designer
The market downturn, crazy competition, dumping prices and complete aesthetic and creative nihilism of customers - typical problems for a web designer

We have quite an interesting solution.
Disclaimer
I don't want to humiliate, embarrass, or ridicule anyone with this article. All professions are necessary and important. Besides, I personally know very good and smart guys who work as security guards. If after reading this article you think that I mock the guards, you have problems with either a sense of humor or understanding.
No foreplay, just facts:
Stability
Web design is what you've earned, what you've earned. Few people will pay for hours if it's a freelancer or owner of a small design company. Everybody wants to pay for the result, and not everybody wants to pay a lot, so you also need to not only think creatively, but also think about where to get customers. And regardless of the stage of development of the design office or web studio.
It is easier for a security guard in a supermarket than a web designer. Salary is stable, sick leave and vacations are paid (in many cases), you can be sad as much as you want, the only thing that is better not miss your workdays (although the management can understand and forgive).
Over-saturation of the market
There are so many web designers (people who call themselves so) now that there is a choice in various categories of performers. Want a simple and cheap site - low-skilled freelancers from various exchanges at your service, if you want to swing and more expensive - look through friends or on the Internet. The choice is simply huge, you can use the services of freelancers from Russia, Ukraine, India, USA, China, and from anywhere. This is both a plus and a minus.
Performers who say they can draw beautiful sites, now a lot. Less common are those who really know how to draw them (or just use beautiful samples like free poster mockup). Again, if you have a name or brand, it will be much easier for you.
The security guard at the supermarket is not worried that there are hundreds of people around who want to become guards. Despite the high rotation rate, finding a job is as easy as losing it (in many cases).
Need for development
This is a real necessity if you do not want to create sites for $ 100 for a full range of works. Development is time, and sometimes money. And also for the development of web-designers need practice. A lot of practice. And there is no getting away from it.
Guard has almost no need to develop, even if he wants to become a senior shift. All the more practice... All the more paid courses... What are you talking about now, anyway?
Critique
When you design a website and show it to the public, be prepared for criticism. This is your creation, and some web designers are very upset and often take to heart everything that complete strangers say about your creation. And there will be criticism, and regardless of your level and skill.
A security guard can only be criticized by those he apprehends for stealing chocolates from a supermarket or by those who do not like the arrogant expression of the person with whom he serves. Except they don't know that he's the boss here, he's the power here. And public criticism is definitely not acceptable here, and he doesn't care about public criticism.
Summary
Of course, I'm kidding. If you're high on web design, of course, you should do it. Even because drawing sites can be called a lifelong affair, and supermarket security - no. Oh, by the way, nothing prevents you from combining these two professions.
