In today’s digital age, it’s all about digital marketing. Businesses need to have an online presence to succeed; today’s customers want to have full access to company information, contact details, support staff, and even the option to buy products and/or services online.
It makes sense that you would focus mainly on your company’s online and digital marketing strategies. However, don’t completely forget about the tried and tested offline marketing methods that companies have been successfully using for years. Here are just some of the best offline marketing strategies you might want to consider implementing in your business.
#1. Labels
If you sell products online, then you can use this as a great opportunity to market your brand to your existing customers. Marketing methods aren’t just there for bringing in new custom; you can also utilize various strategies to keep your current customers coming back for more time and time again.
When sending a product to a customer, you can use customized labels to grab their attention. For example, sticking a label that includes a thank you note on the packaging is a simple move, but it can be hugely effective. For more info on using labels, check out Label City.
#2. Direct Mail
Today, most businesses prefer to send marketing e-mails. Not only is mail through the letterbox getting old, marketing flyers and letters through the door can quickly clutter up the hallway and end up having the opposite effect on your customer.
But, much like email marketing, direct mail can have a very positive effect when it is done correctly. Don’t just stick to marketing materials when sending letters to your customers, though. You can send personalized letters to thank them for their loyalty and custom, or even money off vouchers to encourage them to come back.
#3. Business Cards
When it’s so easy to share your contact details with your smartphone, it’s no wonder that some business owners are forgoing the idea of having business cards printed altogether. However, don’t rule them out just yet. Innovative, unique business cards that stand out are a very effective tool for marketing and advertising your business.
In addition, interesting business cards are a must if you attend networking events; they can attract investors, potential suppliers, and even potential new business partners!
#4. Billboards
The digital side of things has well and truly taken over the marketing industry, but people aren’t online all the time. For example, if you are driving, you may pay some attention to the signs and billboards along the sides of the road.
As a company owner or marketer, it’s a good idea to take advantage of this by placing advertising billboards in areas where your potential customers are going to easily see them. This doesn’t have to be at the side of the road – billboards and posters in food courts, waiting rooms, and public transport stations can have very effective results.
