19 Stone Catfish!

Fisherman Yuri El Diablo Grisendi caught a monstrous 19 stone catfish.

Fisherman Yuri El Diablo Grisendi caught the monster fish in the River Po near Mantova, Italy.

 

He said that he has never seen anything like it despite fishing for over 20 years.

 

The 38-year-old from Reggio Nell Emilia, said:  “I’ve never seen anything like it.

 

“I’ve been fishing for 20 years but I’ve never seen a catfish like this - it was a monster.

 

“It’s comfortably the biggest fish I’ve ever caught - 265lbs is absolutely massive.”

 

“It’s by far the biggest fish I've ever caught and it put up a real fight but it was worth every second.

 

“It took a lot of patience and strength but to look back at those pictures of me with the fish makes every second worth it.”
