Adrian and Gillian Bayford won the massive £148m EuroMillions jackpot last year and have vowed that their win will not in anyway get in the way of their marriage. However, it has now been revealed that they are to divorce.
A spokesman for Gillian has confirmed the rumours that have been going a round for weeks now. He said: "Gillian Bayford confirms that her marriage to Adrian has broken down irretrievably and they have separated.
"Gillian will be giving no further comment about this matter either now or in the future."
Speaking about their win before the divorce plan was discovered, Gillian who was rumoured to be having an affair said: "We've tried not to let it change us.
"My main aims are still my friends, family and children."
"We are not splitting up," she said at the time.
"We aren't any different to the way we were before.
"Every woman goes out and does their bits and pieces.
"But that does not mean I am having an affair."
