The inferno theme is continued in the living room, which is a huge open plan room. Many of the doors have been removed to reflect Jean-Paul Sartre's line "Hell is other people", giving the housemates very few places to go for a bit of peace of quiet.

Black and rich blood reds dominate the walls, with guilding for extra effect, and flaming walls add to the feeling of the underworld.
